It’s called “Dance With Me” — and their band is called Sir, Please — and the song has got over 200,000 streams.

But, having done it, I feel I can retroactively put it on my bucket list and consider it accomplished. Q: It was such a treat to get to attend the rehearsal and see all of you in action behind the scenes. I was just amazed at how mellow and laid back the vibe was at the rehearsal. I’m guessing that’s not the case with every rock ‘n’ roll rehearsal.

The “Hi Infidelity” record, about 10 or 15 years ago, plateaued (in sales) at about 9.5 million. Obviously, we were aware of the diamond award, and had seen some friends get it. And it’s definitely a huge honor. But we were kind of thinking, “Where are going to find 500,000 who want the ‘Hi Infidelity’ album who don’t have it already?” It was kind of out of sight, out of mind. We just never thought it was going to happen. And, you know, 9.5 million — that’s a substantial amount of records to move.
